Kamikiri

From my brief internet research on Kamikiri, I learned that Kamikiri is a traditional Japanese stage performance dating back since the Edo period. It is performed by cutting paper to the audience's requests, with musical accompaniment. When I first heard about Kamikiri during class, I just thought it was an interesting type of performance, but never imagined that it has been there for several centuries. I am excited to attend the Kamikiri performance on Wednesday.
