Taking a language course as a junior
So I decided to take an elementary Japanese course. It felt a little weird because all the people I knew who learned a foreign language in college started as a freshman. I signed up because I was simply interested in Japan. My home country is South Korea. For Koreans, Japan is considered a good touring location since it only takes about two hours in a flight. I have only been to Japan once with my family, and my destination was Kyoto. Regrettably, I can's post any pictures of the tour(I forgot where I store them), but it was fun. I ate tons of great food, visited famous tourist locations and enjoyed a hot spa. Honestly, it is a place I can see myself visiting multiple times throughout my life. In order to enjoy Japan better the next time I visit as a tourist, I have decided to learn Japanese and hopefully be able to hold casual conversations by the end of the semester. Thanks for reading!
